It's Chinese New Year, the final Festival of Light that included Diwali, Yule, Chanukah, Christmas, Kwanza, Epiphany, and Imbolc (Candlemas).
Chinese New Year begins, February 12th at the new moon falling between January 21 and February 20. This February New Moon brings the beginning of Chinese New Year 2021 (February 12, 2021 - January 31, 2022)
Chinese years are named for one of the 12 signs in the Chinese Zodiac represented by one of 12 animals. Each animal has five elements ~ wood, fire, earth, metal, and water. And, Darling Heart, it takes 60 years to complete the cycle! 2021 is the year of the METAL OX.
